Underpainting. Trying to map out the values ahead of time so I can properly render the shape of this flower.
I like the colors and improvised details, but some information has been lost.
Because I was not satisfied with the painting, I converted it to monochrome and drew over it. The image is much better defined. Recently I have been entertaining the idea of doing an artwork multiple times. Learning from my errors and fixing them. I would like to go over this again with a new coat of paint.
