A scene of a town, inspired by a dream. This is from 2010. This image has been a source of intrigue for me, however I could not ever figure out how to revisit it due to the janky perspective.
Then it occurred to me.Something is wrong with this town.

Taking another shot at this artwork. Here's my original attempt. I want it to be more obvious that Princess is in a crowd and everyone is dazzled by her radiance. Meanwhile, she has gone under disguise to escape the public eye.
This is still just a rough version but the general idea and design has been established. It would just need to be fine tuned.
For the experiment I used a really old artwork of Emily and Herrington that I like. Emily is the one with red hair.
There is NO red in this image. If you zoom in on Emily's hair you will find it's actually a blue-gray.
I quite like this color filter as well. The reds are very vibrant. Enhancing the red improves the color illusion, which you can see below.
The peacock mantis shrimp is famous for its incredible punches, powerful enough to break glass. For this reason it is not recommended to keep one as a pet. They can also see in colors that don't exist.
Taking an experimental approach to picking ideas. What if I had someone else do the picking? This is the result.
I touched up an old artwork from 2012. I used to do monthly raffles in which one person got a free request. That was a fun time. Maybe I'll get back into that someday...
The original from 2012. Her eyes.... they stare into my soul....
