Old drawings in glorious high-resolution

Used waifu2x to blow up some of my favorite artworks from 2009. This is especially magical since my laptop hard drive died that summer, and I didn't have some of the original files anymore.

The owliens

I have a very soft spot in my heart for this artwork from 2009. Although I was struggling to develop my skills, this particular picture has always stood out to me as something special. It’s just as much about the memories associated with this artwork as the picture itself. Like a nostalgic smell or your favorite song in high school, it takes me back to a certain time. 

Distant Future

One time I had an eerie dream about a post-apocalyptic landscape, covered in ancient alien towers. It was immediately evident that there was no trace of humanity left, and there hadn't been activity for thousands of years. The dream was so vivid I tried to draw what I saw.
